Drum TapsSelf-closing taps with built in flame arrestors, except viscous liquid taps, to prevent flash-back of fire into the drum. Brass and stainless steel versions have Teflon seals whilst the zinc versions have Buna-N gaskets. Several models have adjustable shanks to ensure tap is facing downward without risk of overtightening, leading to damage or leaks.
All models, with exception of tap extensions, are Factory Mutual approved and tested.
NB: if dispensing viscous, non-corrosive liquid, such as adhesive, paint or oils above 30W the WP-08552 gate tap is strongly recommended. |

Drum and Fill VentsPressurised drums can present a serious hazard to workers or emergency services. These products are designed to eliminate this possibility.
All models are designed to automatically release excess pressure build up in case of fire with flame arrestors to prevent flash back into the drum. Vacuum release is also automatic on all models except WP-08300 which has manual vacuum release.
Drum vents operate at 0.35 bar internal pressure and fit the 2" opening on steel drums. All drum and fill vents are Factory Mutual approved.
