Hazardous Storage Cabinets – 12 sizes Available

All of our Hazardous Storage Cabinets cabinets meet the requirements of the Highly Flammable and Liquefied Petroleum Gases Regulations 1972 (Section 5 PartD), the Health and Safety Executive Guide HS(G)51 1990 and the Factory Inspectorate Certificate of Approval No 1, Parts 3 & 4.

The maximum volume of any flammable liquid with a flash-point of below 32 Degrees Celsius that may be stored in a flame-resistant cabinet within a workroom in 50 Litres, regardless of the total capacity of the storage cabinet.

Redditek Hazardous Storage Cabinets Technical Details (all sizes in mm):

• 12 sizes of floor standing cabinet with varying shelf configurations and optional floor stands.
• Lever lock handles with 2 rod locking top and bottom with 2 keys.
• Finished in yellow (RAL 1003) or dark grey (BS632) epoxy with clear identification labelling. (Other colours available on request).
• Strong welded 20swg steel construction having Leverlock handles with 2 rods locking top and bottom with two keys.
• Shelf trays adjustable to 25mm pitch with punched drain holes to allow spillage to drain into removable sump.
• All handles are metal – many other suppliers use cheap plastic handles which means even if their cabinet survives the excessive heat or fire you can’t get into it!
• Shelf capacity 35Kg, Maximum 250Kg per cabinet. (can be upgraded to 80Kg per shelf, please contact us)
• Removable sumps.

Sump capacities are:

• 4 litres on 355 x 305mm (W x D) models
• 14.5 litres on 457 x 457mm (W x D) models
• 27 litres on 915 x 457mm (W x D) models
• 42.5 litres on 1200 x 500mm (W x D) models
