The Justrite Lithium-Ion Battery Charging Safety Cabinet is made using a proprietary 9-layer ChargeGuard™ system that helps minimize potential losses from fire.

Engineered to charge and store 8* lithium batteries (see Technical Details)

Designed with a pressure relief vent system and double-wall construction featuring an insulating air gap, this unit helps maintain a safe-to-touch exterior. Integrated color-changing tabs indicate heat exposure, while the built-in filtration system captures and neutralizes toxins released during lithium-ion battery fires.

Heavy-duty, welded double-wall steel creates a robust enclosure designed to contain potential explosions.

Advanced Pressure Relief Venting
Specially engineered vented door panels disperse pressure from thermal runaway and battery malfunctions, minimizing explosive force.

Reinforced Door Latching System
Strong steel latch rods and reinforced cradle plates keep doors securely closed, even under extreme conditions.

Integrated Flame Arrestors
Dual-layer wire mesh flame arrestors absorb heat and prevent flames from escaping the cabinet.

Air-Gap Insulated Walls
A 1.5″ air gap between double-layered walls helps insulate external surfaces, while interior absorbent materials dissipate heat from battery failures.

Fire-Blocking Hinge Guards
Sealed door hinges with built-in flame guards block fire from escaping through hinge gaps, preventing secondary ignition outside the cabinet.

Automatic Spring-Loaded Dampers
At circa 60°C, internal dampers activate automatically to reduce smoke and toxic gas release by up to 99%.

High-Efficiency Filtration System
The built-in pressure relief system includes a filter that traps smoke and absorbs hazardous toxins for safer ventilation.

Thermally Expanding Door Seals
Heat-activated intumescent seals expand with rising temperatures, sealing gaps to block smoke, fumes, and flames.
