Description

The Octaguard profile floor mat from Seltek Warehouse is a low profile tough heavy duty rubber mat (also bevelled edges versions), suitable for a wide variety of demanding applications.

The open cellular structure allows debris and liquids to fall through keeping the surface clear for effective swarf removal.

Raised nibs on the underside provide excellent drainage in wet and slippery conditions.

Features

Use – Wet/Dry/Outdoor Areas
Crush Resistant (Level 2)
Soil Resistance (Level 3)
Wear Resistance (Level 2)
Slip Resistance (Level 2)

Level Testing 1(Good) 2(Better) 3(Best)

Crush Resistant – A test to simulate wear is applied and the appropriate ratings are given on the product icons.
Soil Resistance – The higher the rating, the greater the weight of dust and dirt is collected in the particular mat. This capability is greatly enhanced by the design and quality of the yarns used in the manufacture of the mats.
Wear Resistance – ASTM D3844-92. An accelerated wear test whereby total loss of material weight is measured when subjected to 5000 cycles under an abrasive wheel.
Slip Resistance – ASTM C1028-89 & DIN-E-51130, 51097. These tests measure the force required to cause slippage of a local load across the surface of the material. The coefficient of friction ratio is the force divided by the weight. The higher the performance icon, the greater the coefficient of friction ratio, thus the greater the slip resistance of the mat.
