Steerable Skates –Â 3000-12000Kg
Industrial shifting skates are designed for moving heavy objects
They are ideal for moving factory machinery, power generators, large steel constructions etc
The load can be raised using either a roller crowbar or a hydraulic jack
Skates are maintenance free with sealed bearings
They are fitted with handles for ease of carrying and positioning
The tops of the skates are covered with an anti-slip rubber mat for stability and protection of loads
Steerable skates are usually used together with an adjustable skate pair
One or two steerable skates can be used to form a skate set
Each skate has a high quality turntable and packing plate covered with a rubber mat
The steering handles are 1m long
The steering handles of the ST60 & ST120 models come with hitching loops to connect to tugs or forklifts
