How to Get the Most out of your Rubber Flooring

You’ll want to clean the floors every day, particularly as a busy working area can accumulate a lot of debris and dust. Cleaning this would be the first step in maintaining your floors. You can do this with a broom or a vacuum cleaner. This step makes sure that the rest of your floor is easy to clean. Without first removing the dust and debris, you can better mop the area. 

Mopping helps to clean up the space and we would recommend using a PH-neutral detergent to keep the flooring in good condition. If you find that you have heavy dirt, then you can clean the flooring on a low-speed mono brush equipped with a light abrasive disc. Use the same PH neutral detergent to help avoid causing damage to the rubber. You can rinse the flooring several times to make sure that you get rid of all the dirt.

We would recommend doing this every day to avoid the build-up of dirt and debris that could damage your products. But we would also recommend doing a periodic deep clean. A deep clean is important to restore the initial appearance of the flooring and maintain its quality for many years to come. We would suggest starting with the deep clean in the same way that you would a daily clean, using a wet vacuum and rinse it before leaving it to dry. 

Once this has finished, you can restore the desired level of floss by using a spray buffing system. This machine makes it easy for you to keep the rubbing flooring clean, clear and glossy, a comfortable and clean place for your employees to work. If your space is subject to strong light, then you’ll want to make sure that you add a protective top coat to help avoid the rubber deteriorating over time. 

Importantly, you need to remember that these topcoats need to be removed and reapplied to the rubber flooring periodically to properly maintain your space.
