Thermocouple probes are a base metal thermocouple system using two dissimilar metals welded at the tip forming what is commonly known as the thermocouple junction.
Every one of our probes is available in various 'types' of junction.
Type K is standard and the most common offering a wide measurement range.
Others offer higher degrees of accuracy but offer a lower range. It is worth noting that your thermometer unit must be compatible with the probe type.
Type K can be ordered from our stock from the website, but if you require a different type, please contact us.

An Environment meter is a broad term that can refer to a multitude of devices. These devices measure a mixture of variables including temperature, humidity, airflow light and sound.
Instruments that measure one (and sometimes two) of these variables have their own names. Hygrometers (humidity), anemometers (airflow), sound and light meters (light/sound) and obviously thermometers (temperature).
Some devices are pre-fixed with the term 'thermo' such as a thermo-hygrometer. This simply means measures temperature.

Lux meters are most commonly used for two purposes. Our range of specialist industrial light meters designed for checking illumination levels within the workplace. The second common use is in photography. Photographic light meters often include specialised features that indicate shutter speed etc. If these features are not required then an industrial device is a cheaper alternative.

Sound level meters respond to fluctuations in air pressure caused by sound waves and are sometime referred to as Sound Pressure Level (SPL) Meters.
We stock a selection of sound level indicators, high-performance meters that conform to IEC 61672-1:2013 Class 1 and Class 2, and Dosemeters.
Whether you need a simple indicator or a high-spec meter we aim to source the most cost-effective solutions available on the market

Thermal imaging equipment has become one of the most highly valued tools for diagnostic and preventative maintenance in many industrial applications.
Thermal imaging sensors are based off infrared technology, but unlike traditional infrared thermometers they record thousands of temperature spots simultaneously and report them back as a visual representation rather than a direct reading.

A moisture meter is an instrument designed for measuring the water content, usually in terms of percentage, in substances and materials. Moisture meters are integral to the process of determining materials readiness and suitability for use in any given field. Moisture content, especially in wood products, can have a significant impact on physical properties.
Failure to detect unexpected levels of moisture can lead to serious problems, especially in the construction industry. If the right process is not implimented dry rot and mould can set in, leading to more serious problems that compromise the structural integrity of your project.
